2 Saucy e-commerce packaging

2 Saucy are a Manchester based manufacturer of all-purpose sauces. Their range includes Mango Chilli, Korean Pepper and Honey and Mustard to name a few.

The brief was to create 3 different sizes of transit packaging to accommodate 1, 2 and 3 bottles for their exciting new hot sauce range. The packaging needed to be affordable and sustainable.

The print design needed to be eye-catching and reflective of the brand’s core principles. The architecture of the boxes needed to be quick to construct and load, and of sufficient strength to protect the fragile glass bottles within.

The Solution
FEFCO 0427 style boxes are often the design of choosing when it comes to ecommerce boxes. And with good reason – they are strong, quick and easy to assemble, self-locking and board efficient. Furthermore, they are so frequently used, that end users know how to open them intuitively, making them frustration free. And with the addition of personalised print they tick all of the boxes.

In addition to the 1 bottle box, our team designed the 2 and 3 bottle boxes to incorporate integrated inserts to separate and therefore protect the bottles during transit. Pre-production samples were created for the customer to be satisfied that the style and design of the carton met their expectations.

Using just one flexo colour we reversed out the logo and text to reveal the kraft board beneath, giving the illusion of a more expensive 2 colour design.
