Three side seal pouches (sometimes referred to as ‘Flat Pouches’) are one of the best ways to ensure the longevity of your product, as they have strong barrier protection qualities to prevent the infiltration of oxygen and moisture, meaning your products stay fresher for longer! Varying levels of barrier protection can be offered if you need to extend the shelf life of your product even further. Whilst commonly employed for use within the food industry three-side seal pouches are extremely versatile and can be used for any number of different products. These pouches can be filled by hand or by an automatic filling/packing machine.
One of the benefits of using a three side seal pouch is that you have a lot of print area that can be utilised. At Sarcina Packaging we are able to gravure or flexo print your pouches in up to 8 colours. All of our pouches are made to order and can be fitted with press-to-close zippers so that the contents do not have to be decanted into a separate container. We can design tear notches into the pouch and euro slots if required. We are also able to make your packaging clear or design a window into the pouch, making it easy to identify and view the contents before your customer makes the purchase.
