Sarcina Packaging’s paper mailing bags are made from 100% kraft paper derived from FSC certified sources, and as with LDPE mailing bags, include an easy to use self-seal adhesive strip to seal the bags. The mailing bags are made from a hard-wearing and water resistant kraft paper, ranging from 70-120gsm depending on the size of the mailing bag you require. They are available as 1 or 2 ply.
Paper mailing bags are ideal for providing a point of differentiation in a competitive and dynamic ecommerce space. They’re perfect for sending typically non-fragile items such as clothing, accessories and gifts. Ecommerce sellers tend to opt for paper mailing bags as they are lighter than traditional corrugated boxes and void fill, they also take up less space and reduce waste, saving you shipping costs in the process.
We offer three types of paper mailing bags:
1. Sarcina Light Weight Mailing Envelopes
Available on either white or brown paper these mailing envelopes are best suited to light weight products. They feature a base gusset for increased capacity and can be printed one or both sides. They are available in a range of sizes as outlined below.
Stock sizes available are (width x height x gusset + self-seal lip):
- 210 x 230 + 60 + 50 mm
- 250 x 345 + 60 + 50 mm
- 350 x 430 + 60 + 50 mm
- 400 x 430 + 60 + 50 mm
- 600 x 450 + 60 + 50 mm
Minimum order quantities are 10,000 units.
2. Sarcina Paper Mailing Bags
These all-paper mailing bags are heavier duty than the mailing envelopes and can be produced in white or brown material in either 1, or 2 ply for added strength. Single or twin peel and seal tapes can be included and there is the option for a carry handle should you wish. They can be printed one or both sides. These bags can feature a side or a base gusset (but not both)
They are available in a wide range of sizes as outlined below.
Width Variation
- 255mm wide x 75mm side gusset
- 420mm wide x 75mm side gusset
- 330mm wide x 100mm side gusset
- 460mm wide x 100mm side gusset
- 420mm wide x 215mm side gusset
Length Variation
- Minimum Length: 415mm + Lip
- Maximum Length: 825mm + lip
Minimum order quantities are 6,000 – 10,000 units depending on size.

3. Sarcina Digitally Printed Paper Mailing Bags
New for 2022…
Digitally printed paper mailing bags use full CMYK colour print technology and have no additional costs involved for printing plates which is ideal for smaller orders which require a quicker turn-around.
Our Digitally Printed Paper Mailing Bags all have a 60mm open bottom gusset and are available in three sizes:
- 90gsm paper
- Minimum order quantity of 250 units
